Moldex 9400 cartridges are the ABEK1 option in the EasyLock gas-filter range. Their activated-carbon media is designed for specified organic and inorganic gases, acid gases, ammonia and certain ammonia derivatives, subject to the limits of each filter type.
Direct EasyLock connection
- Fits Moldex 7000 Series half masks and 9000 Series full face masks.
- Bayonet connection allows the cartridge to attach directly to the facepiece.
- Compatible EasyLock particulate filters can connect to the gas cartridge without an extra adapter.
- Supplied as two matching gas cartridges.
ABEK1 identifies the supported gas families and class 1 capacity. Type A applies to specified organic compounds with boiling points above 65°C; selection still depends on the exact substance and its concentration.
These 9400 cartridges do not provide particulate filtration on their own. Add the appropriate approved EasyLock particle filters where dust, mist or fume is also present. The mask and any added particulate filters are separate. Use a fit-tested mask and follow Moldex instructions and the workplace replacement schedule for both cartridges.
