JSP FAR0512 is a retention accessory for a safety helmet. It connects the helmet to clothing so a dislodged helmet remains tethered, a useful consideration where dropped equipment could create a hazard below the working area.

- Approximately 48 cm relaxed length, extending to 122 cm.
- Maximum retained load of 0.9 kg.
- Supplied as one FAR0512 lanyard, without a helmet.
Fitting and inspection
Attach the lanyard only as described in the JSP instructions and check that its position allows normal movement without catching on surrounding equipment. Inspect the cord, attachment and clip before use and replace damaged components. The helmet still requires its own correctly adjusted retention arrangement for the task. This lanyard does not provide head impact protection and is not a fall-arrest connection for the wearer.
