JSP BHT0C3-0L5-N00 supplies a medium Force8 half mask with two ABEK1P3 PressToCheck combination filters fitted. The thermoplastic rubber facepiece uses a four-point cradle, quick-release buckles and a Typhoon exhalation valve. The facepiece meets EN 140 and the combination filters meet EN 14387.
Included filter scope
- A: selected organic gases and vapours with boiling points above 65°C.
- B: inorganic gases and vapours, excluding carbon monoxide.
- E: acid gases; K: ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives.
- P3: particulate filtration. Class 1 refers to the gas-filter capacity.
These groups do not mean protection against every chemical. Select the kit using the identified contaminants and concentrations, and follow the filter change schedule and instructions. Replace the two filters together when required.
The wearer needs a suitable face fit test and a clean sealing area. Use PressToCheck to check the seal whenever the mask is donned; this check does not replace formal fit testing. Do not use this filtering kit where oxygen is deficient, the contaminants are unknown or the task involves isocyanate-containing paint sprays.
