The Portwest PW98 Forestry Combi Kit brings head, face and hearing protection together for forestry, landscaping and grounds-maintenance work. The orange helmet has ventilation openings for airflow, while the visor and ear defenders mount to the helmet so the components can be worn together.
What is included
- Vented ABS safety helmet with wheel ratchet adjustment from 56–63 cm.
- Six-point textile suspension harness, sweatband and chin strap.
- Stainless-steel mesh visor and reinforced visor holder.
- Helmet-mounted ear defenders with adjustable positioning.
The helmet meets EN 397 with -30°C/+50°C and lateral-deformation requirements. The mesh visor assembly is rated EN 1731 F, and the ear defenders meet EN 352-3. Hearing-protection selection must use the attenuation data for the complete helmet and earmuff combination, alongside the workplace noise assessment.
The mesh visor does not protect against liquid splashes or provide a fine-dust seal; use suitable additional eye protection where required. The vented helmet is not electrically insulating.
