Check that the frame fits closely and remains stable with any other PPE worn for the task. Side shields provide additional coverage but do not turn spectacles into sealed goggles; select separately rated protection when liquid splash or fine dust is a concern. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions to preserve the coatings, and replace damaged or heavily scratched eyewear. No coating removes the need to check visibility and lens condition during use.
