The Portwest P392 Eagle is a compact folding particulate respirator with an activated-carbon layer to help reduce nuisance odours. Seven flexible sections accommodate facial movement, while the valve helps release heat and moisture from exhaled air.
Features and classification
- FFP3 NR D to EN 149:2001+A1:2009.
- Adjustable nose bar and foam padding around the nose.
- Carbon layer for nuisance-odour relief.
- Ten masks in individual protective polybags.
This is a particulate filtering facepiece, not a respirator fitted with a rated gas-filter cartridge. Nuisance-odour reduction must not be relied on for protection against hazardous concentrations of gases or vapours. Select respiratory equipment for the actual substances and exposure levels involved.
The D marking confirms dolomite clogging testing, while NR specifies single-shift use. Replace the mask earlier if damaged, contaminated or difficult to breathe through. Confirm the wearer’s fit by testing and check the seal whenever it is put on, with no facial hair crossing the sealing area.
