The Portwest A845 is a pair of PVC chemical-resistant gauntlets with a 45 cm overall length for extended hand and forearm coverage. A double-dipped coating and sandy palm help you hold slippery components, while the jersey lining makes the gloves more comfortable against the skin.
Construction and coverage

- 1.6 mm thickness and 450 mm overall length.
- Jersey lining and EN ISO 21420 dexterity level 5.
- Supplied as one left-hand and one right-hand glove.
Protection and use
EN 388:2016 + A1:2018 rating 3121X covers the tested mechanical performance. EN ISO 374-1 Type B JKL identifies chemical testing with n-heptane, 40% sodium hydroxide and 96% sulphuric acid. The gloves are also tested to EN ISO 374-5 for resistance to bacteria and fungi.
Match the gloves to the chemical, concentration, temperature and handling task using Portwest’s instructions and chemical data. Inspect before use and replace damaged gloves. Laboratory chemical test results do not set a safe wear time for every workplace.
