JSP Powercap Active Replacement Visor CAU030-000-000

JSP CAU030-000-000 is the replacement visor for the standard Powercap Active. It helps form the front of the powered respirator’s airflow enclosure and is attached using the standard unit’s hook-and-loop fixing arrangement.

Version-specific replacement

• One clear polycarbonate visor for the standard Powercap Active.
• Non-impact design.
• Powercap Active IP requires its separate impact visor, CAU080-000-000.

Inspect the old visor for damage and impaired visibility, and install the replacement according to JSP’s instructions. Check that the attachment is secure and that the face skirt is correctly positioned around the replacement visor.

This visor does not provide the IP model’s impact protection. Where the task requires protection from flying particles, use suitable compatible eye protection selected by the workplace assessment. The visor is a spare component, not a complete respirator. Check the assembled Powercap and carry out its prescribed airflow test before returning it to service.
